Oh boy Oh boy! I just made the best pumpkin waffles for dinner! You can find the recipe here. (Epicurious has tons of super great recipes).

I will post it for your viewing pleasure!

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup well-shaken buttermilk
  • 1 cup canned solid-pack pumpkin

  • Vegetable oil for brushing waffle iron

  • Accompaniment: warm pure maple syrup

  • Special equipment: a waffle iron (preferably nonstick)

I know that the photos are not much to look at (thank you iphone) but it gives you the idea!

Tonight I am trying to find the motivation to pack for the Thanksgiving holidays. Currently I am snuggled in my Anthropologie comforter watching television on my laptop. You see, I do not have cable, and the 10 inch tv that I do own resides in my closet. It is useful for watching the weather, as long as I hold the bunny ears towards the window and don’t move.

I know I was supposed to post Christmas decor today, but I am too tired to do it after all of the cooking. I will leave you with some cute x-mas decor from around the internet:
