Artist Admiration: Nora Aoyagi

Fancy Wolf Print

I have an affinity for printmaking, and have long admired artist Nora Aoyagi’s patterned and dark silkscreened prints. She is an artist based out of Berkley, California. According to her Etsy bio, she is influenced by children’s book illustrations, Mexican folk art, and vintage circus advertisements. I adore her work and long to purchase a print for myself 🙂

She has a “fondness for fairytales and fearsome creatures” (quoted from her website). I especially love her Little Red Riding Hood themed works. Please, do yourself a favor and explore more of the works from Nora Aoyagi 🙂
